Joshua Hurwitz, MD

Dr. Joshua M. Hurwitz is a reproductive endocrinologist and partner at Illume Fertility, where he has practiced since 2006. He also serves as Director of Fertility Preservation for the Nuvance Northwell Health Network and Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Services at Danbury Hospital.

He earned a degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University, completed medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His work focuses on infertility, fertility preservation, reproductive aging, diminished ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency, reproductive surgery, and evidence-based individualized care.
