Geisinger has always run their shuttle bus service from the parking lots to the various places around the hospital for families of patients every day of the week. I came today to visit my mom and there was no shuttle!!! I called the main number to ask about a shuttle running and they said they don't run on the weekends anymore! Really?? What about elderly people? This is a shame. The amount of money this hospital takes in and the amount of money the CFO or CEO makes a year and they cannot pay people to drive the shuttle bus on the weekends is disgusting!!!! Do better!

I hate this place. Every time I come here I feel small and stupid. I met 2 nurses that were decent, 1 doctor that was average. Everyone else are condescending jerk. I am leaving here once again with daughter with a feeling of insecurity, resentment, frustration, and as an overreacting mom. Unfortunately, in my area it's the only hospital worth anything. Wellspan ECH is worse. Everyone I know that comes here complains of the same thing I do, too. If you can, go somewhere else. Avoid this place.

Was in a car accident the Er Nurses and Doctors were not very pleasant however the trauma floor was absolutely amazing. The Nurses and doctors treated us with compassion. They were very attentive and iny room frequently. We could not of asked for better care being 4 1/2 hours away from home.

Please for the love of everything holy, have your staff communicate with each other. Was told to go to 3 different places for a blood test, then had my blood taken at the hospital by an old woman who's hands were shaking and causing the needle to shake under my skin. yeowch. The staff is definitely barely hanging on and jumble around without communicating anything. I had 3 girls all at one computer trying to figure out scheduling for a follow up appointment. only to be called and told the doctor has a fault in his schedule and we need to reschedule... again.
