Old building, bathrooms not that well kept, no help desk hard to find where need to go

This place is so modern and organized which made it easy to navigate

I know coming to the surrogates office isnt on everyone’s bucket list but I do need to say that Jackie at the front desk was very nice and helpful not only to me, but to everyone else that walked in asking for assistance. Also, Carrie was super helpful and it was the 2nd time she helped me with what I needed to get done. Always smiling and compassionate. Thank you for two great experiences Jackie and Carrie

The Surrogate's office in Union County has the best and most helpful staff of any office in any New Jersey County. We have been doing business with Union County since 1922 and the Union County Surrogate's office is our favorite. I called this morning and got exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes.

This is an absolutely disgusting facility employing absolutely disgusting people. The lack of empathy or compassion is bewildering. Any time you call to ask a question they treat you like you’re stupid and like you should already know the answer. They offer no help, no guidance, no support. The entire department needs to be wiped clean and start fresh.
